Nikolas "Nik" Volosin is a commercial litigator who treats every client's problem as his own. He has spent five years at the highest levels of the profession at King & Spalding LLP and Akerman LLP, representing some of the largest companies in the world and the individuals who run them. He brings to every matter the same discipline: understand what the client needs, identify the sharpest path forward, and execute with precision and care.

Nik's practice spans complex commercial litigation, securities and corporate fraud disputes, real estate and land use litigation, insurance disputes, and government investigations. He has represented some of the largest corporations in the country — including major insurance carriers, tobacco manufacturers, automobile manufacturers, and real estate developers — as well as high-net-worth individuals and universities across various state and federal courts. His trial experience includes participation in multiple month-long trials in Florida state court on behalf of a major tobacco manufacturer, one of which resulted in a complete defense verdict in Broward County. He has served as plaintiff's counsel in a high-profile real estate dispute arising from the $79 million sale of a prominent Indian Creek Island estate to Jeff Bezos, and has represented a major South Florida law school and its senior leadership in sensitive high-stakes employment-related litigation.

His practice extends to defending public companies in securities class actions under Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act and counseling corporations and individuals through federal white-collar investigations, including matters involving the Department of Justice, the FBI, the IRS, and the Small Business Administration. He has also handled appellate matters on behalf of large insurance carriers and other organizations, bringing the same precision and strategic judgment to briefing and argument that he applies at every stage of litigation.

Nik is a Miami native and a graduate of Florida State University. He earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a finalist in the school-wide Gaubatz moot court competition and won a brief writing award in the national Kaufman Securities Law Moot Court Competition. During law school, he also clerked for the Honorable Alicia O. Valle in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and served on the University of Miami Business Law Review.

Outside of his practice, Nik is active in his community, including through appointments to local government committees, participation in bar association events, mentoring law students across South Florida, and counseling and mentoring young patients at UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
